A quick reminder that I no longer do tag lists
You awake the next morning at around 7:00am, stretching your arms and yawning loudly before rubbing your eyes, the events of the previous night gone from your mind as you climb out of bed. You throw on your pajama pants before going downstairs, where you find both your parents now huddled in front of the TV.
âWhatâs going on?â you ask, standing in the threshold of the living room before stepping in to join your parents.
What you see, shocks you. Itâs a breaking news report. Fish and Game had found one of the hikers, Alicia Walker, dead off of one of the Mt. Lafayette trails.
âTheyâre calling it an animal attack,â your father suddenly breaks the silence, âthere were signs she had been attacked by some kind of animal like a bear or⌠a coydog. But⌠Iâve never heard of bears or coydogs attacking people around here.â
Your focus returns to the TV, where you watch the reporter at the Mt. Lafayette trailhead.
âFish and Game is asking hikers to never hike alone, let friends and family know if they plan on hiking and where, as well as bring adequate protection to defend themselves against wildlife until they can find and euthanize the animal responsible for this attack. Fish and Game believes this same animal is responsible for the other missing hikers, the latest being 21 year old Nathaniel Dion of Oakvale who was last seen Monday--â
Your eyes widen at the name; you went to school with this guy. He wasnât anyone you knew personally, but he was one of the more popular guys in your high school class. You recall he was a huge fitness junky. He was also Chief Bobâs only son; you could only begin to imagine how much this probably distressed him and his family.Â
âPoor Bob and NancyâŚâ you hear your mother say before she abruptly walks into the kitchen, âIâm going to call them up and see if thereâs anything we can do to help them, Mick.â
âYeah, itâs the least we can do, maybe we should have them over for lunch. Iâm sure they could use the company,â your father suggests before turning off the TV and joining your mother in the kitchen.
Meanwhile, you remain in the living room, staring at your reflection in the TV screen before you turn, going back upstairs to your bedroom to get dressed.
Later that day, Chief Bob and his wife Nancy do end up coming over for lunch. Your mother had made up sandwiches and fresh ice tea for everyone. Sitting at the dining table with them was unfortunately awkward, Chief Bob and Nancy were clearly distraught, understandably so.Â
âHe said he was doing the Lafayette, Lincoln and Liberty loop, which normally only takes him a day or two. When he didnât come back WednesdayâŚâ Nancy begins, wiping tears from her eyes.
âThatâs when I reached out to Fish and Game to report him missing, they immediately organized a search party. Thatâs when they stumbled upon that other hiker, Alicia. They found her when they were looking for Nate.â Bob finished, clearing his throat as he attempted to regain his composure.Â
âIs it true what theyâre saying? That an animal is attacking hikers?â you interject before biting into your sandwich.
âThatâs the weird part. I asked for a copy of her autopsy report. The poor girlâs throat was practically ripped out, her blood drained out of her body almost completely--â
âBob, honey, weâre eating.â Nancy scolded.
Bob continues, paying Nancy no mind, âwhen I talked to the coroner that did her autopsy, he said the bite wound was unlike anything heâs ever seen. I donât know of a single animal up here that would do that and⌠drain the blood out like that.â
âI can see why theyâre keeping that hush-hush. We donât need any crazy rumors that weâve got vampires or some bull crap like that,â Mick replies with his mouth full of sandwich.
âFish and Game is still looking for Nate, Iâm praying to God he just got off trail and got himself lost. I donât know what Iâd do if anything happened to him,â Nancy says with a sigh, resting her hands in her lap as she stares down at her untouched sandwich.Â
Your mother reaches over, putting her hand over Nancyâs, giving them a pat, âI have faith that heâs out there. Mick and I and our daughter are here for both of you if thereâs anything we can do to help.â
Nancy suddenly bursts into tears, sobbing at the dining room table loudly.
Your mother looks at you, âsweetheart, can you grab the box of tissues that is sitting on my nightstand for Nancy?â
You give your mother a quick nod as you stand up from the dining room table to head upstairs to the master bedroom. So many thoughts were racing through your head, mostly about how the hiker had died. Chief Bob was right; yeah there were bears and coydogs, but nothing would or could suck a personâs blood dry like that. Shaking yourself from your thoughts, you find the box of tissues on your motherâs nightstand, right where she said it was and brought it downstairs.
You sit back down at the table but you canât help but zone out, thinking about Nate, lost in the forest.
That evening, you get yourself ready to go to work, heading into the garage of your familyâs home to get into your bright yellow 1977 Chevrolet Chevette. It was kind of a beater, but it was reliable. Your dad had made sure it was running well prior to you flying back home. You turn the key, the engine roaring to life; you turn around in your seat and slowly back out of the garage to go to work.
You hear Whitney Houstonâs âI Wanna Dance with Somebodyâ come on the radio, you turn up the volume and sing along. After a few minutes, you arrive at the gas station, parking your car on the side of the building before heading inside.
âHey Peggy!â you call out as you walk in, walking into the back office to drop off your purse and car keys before heading up to the register.
âHey sweetie!â Peggy replies when you come back out to relieve her from her shift, âhow was your day?â
âIt was ok, we had lunch with Chief Bob and his wife. Iâm sure you heard his son Nateâs missing in the mountains.â
Peggy shakes her head, âI did hear about that, poor kid. I really hope they find him safe and sound. They found one of the other hikers dead, right?â
âYeah, supposedly attacked by some kind of animal.â
âGod help usâŚâ Peggy says under her breath as she walks out from behind the register to let you in.
âHave a good night Peggy!â you say to her, seeing her off as you take up your post.
A couple hours go by, you watch as the sun sets behind the mountains. It was a slow night, so you took that opportunity to mop the floors, zoning out the roar of a motorcycle pulling into the gas station. The sound of the door chime snaps you out of your daze. You look up to greet the customer.
âHey there, how can I help-- oh! Leon!â
Your heart immediately starts racing again upon seeing Leon. Heâs wearing a blue button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows with a black vest on top and tight fitting black pants with black boots. The outfit makes him look otherworldly; simply stunning.
âHey there, I was hoping you were working tonight,â Leon says, giving you a gentle smile.
âR-Really?â you reply as you haphazardly put your bucket and mop over in a corner, âhow⌠can I be of assistance, Leon?â
âWell, as Iâm sure youâve heard, I bought that old house on the end of Hemlock Drive.â
âYeah⌠Mr. Masonâs place, right? Oh⌠right⌠you wouldnât know who that wasâŚâ you say, your voice trailing off.Â
Leon lets out a playful chuckle before continuing, âwell⌠Iâm starting to realize I could use an extra pair of hands to help fix it up.â
âYou want me to ask around to see if anyone can help?â you say, crossing your arms, shifting your weight on one foot.
âI was actually hoping I could hire you.â
Your heart jumps into your throat and your mouth hangs slightly agape as you process his words. The door chime going off again snaps you out of your shock.
âHold that thought,â you gesture your finger at Leon as you walk behind the cash register to help the customer that walked in, a stranger passing through getting gas.
Leon stands behind the customer but off to the side, waiting for them to leave so that you two could continue your conversation. You send the customer off on their way after they pay for gas, drawing your attention back to Leon.
âSo⌠what would I be helping you with? I donât know much about⌠building stuff,â you explain, feeling your cheeks turn red.
âOh no, nothing like that. Iâd have you help with painting, cleaning, maybe nailing stuff down. Easy stuff, I promise. And Iâd be paying you.â
âHow much?â
Leon shrugs his shoulders, âI was thinking⌠$10 an hour? Iâd have you do Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm, give or take.â
$10?! you think to yourself.Â
That is way over what youâre making here, which is minimum wage, âIâll do it. Iâd have to put my notice in here first.â
Leon smiles, âthink you can start next Monday?â
âAbsolutely!â
Leon leans forward against the counter, reaching across to give one of your shoulders a pat, âexcellent! See you on Monday then.â
Leon gives you a subtle wink, turning to walk out of the gas station. You watch as he gets on his motorcycle, jumping a bit when it roars to life, your eyes remaining locked on him as he drives off. You canât believe your luck.
Pulling up to his home at the end of Hemlock Drive, Leon parks his motorcycle out front, climbing off it before heading inside. Immediately upon entering the front door, he lets himself finally relax, taking off his vest before he works on unbuttoning his shirt. He walks into the bathroom, standing in front of the mirror as he pulls his shirt off, revealing his chiseled chest.Â
Before long, dark veins begin to sprawl across his body as he rubs the knots out of the back of his neck with one of his hands, his eyes closed as he lets out a low groan. He slowly opens his eyes, his ocean blue eyes now a brilliant red; they appear to glow in the low light of the bathroom. He snarls his lips at his reflection, revealing his sharp canine teeth that have descended, licking the points with his tongue before he steps back, admiring his physique in the mirror. All the while, something deep and primal within him, at the very core of his being, begins to nag him once more, something that wouldnât stop since he first laid eyes on the cute girl that works nights at the gas station.
Breed.
In fact, he had gotten himself so worked up that night he met her while filling his motorcycleâs gas tank that he had to go out and hunt. Smirking in the mirror, he turns, walking out of the bathroom, approaching a door in the rear of the house that was padlocked shut. He pulls his keys from his pocket, unlocking the padlock and setting it aside on a small table before opening the door. It leads to the basement, the smell of blood immediately hitting his senses, driving his hunger wild. He descends the stairs slowly, flipping on a light at the bottom that turns on a single set of fluorescent lights.
Under the light, there is a support beam that a young man is tied to, bloody, battered and his neck covered in several bite marks, with duct tape wrapped around his mouth and eyes. The young man immediately hears Leon approach, struggling as much as his weak body can against his restraints. Leon stalks over to the young man, grasping him by his chin and squeezing tightly, smirking down at him. Today he learned this imbecile is the Oakvaleâs chief of policeâs only son. Just his luck. It was because of this moron hiking alone that Fish and Game had found the remnants of one of his other meals looking for this idiot. He could feel his frustration boiling within him, causing him to suddenly twist the young manâs head, snapping his neck instantly.
âWhoops.â
He didnât mean to snap the poor kidâs neck, he was hoping to enjoy him for a few more days, now he has to enjoy as much as he can before his blood starts to go stale. Opening his mouth, his fangs and mouth latch onto the dead young manâs neck, growling as he begins to feed upon him. He gets his fill, unlatching himself from the young manâs lifeless form with a gasp, breathing heavily as blood runs from his lips, dripping down his chin onto his bare chest. The young manâs body slumps forward as Leon steps back. Heâs going to have to get rid of him before his cute angel starts her new âjobâ on Monday.
Thinking of her, his eyes flutter shut, his right hand smearing the blood that had dripped down across his chest, bringing his hand to his lips to lick off the blood. Before getting himself too worked up again, he turns around, leaving the basement, shutting off the light as he ascends back up the stairs. He goes back into the bathroom, turning on the shower. As he waits for the water to warm up, he looks at himself again in the mirror. His pupils dilate upon seeing the blood on his skin. Turning away from the mirror, he removes whatâs left of his clothing and steps into the shower to clean himself up, watching as blood runs down his naked body, the blood swirling on the shower floor before going down the drain.Â
His mind wanders back to his cute angel, to that night he watched her from the window while she played with herself, his own blood rushing straight to his cock. Grasping himself with his right hand, he begins to stroke himself aggressively, chasing his orgasm as he pictured his cute angel lying beneath him, her undoubtedly beautiful cunt squeezing around him. It doesnât take long for him to climax, ropes of cum shooting out and covering his hand; some of it managed to land on the shower wall. He takes a moment to rinse his hand off as well as wipe the cum off the shower wall before turning the shower off.Â
Stepping out of the shower, he grabs a towel off the rack, wrapping it around his waist as he steps out of the bathroom and heads into the master bedroom. He lays down onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling as he continues to think about his cute angel, excited about seeing her on Monday. He thought his plan was ingenious; getting her closer to him under the guise of a job. He knew luring her wouldnât be difficult, she practically eye fucked him every time they saw each other. Still, he had to offer her pay that he knew she couldnât refuse. Then, he could take his time courting her and before she even knows it, sheâll be his.
His Mate.
âAbsolutely not,â your father says to you sternly the next morning at the table at breakfast.
âWhat do you mean, absolutely not? I already took the job, Dad, Iâm putting in my notice tonight. Heâs paying me $10 an hour! I couldnât say no to that!â
âAnd have you in that house, alone with some guy we donât even really know? I donât think so.â
âDad come on, heâs really niceâŚâ
âWe have plenty of retired guys in town that he could have asked.â
âMick,â your mother tries to interject.
âFor all we know, he could be some psychopath or something--â
âMICK! THATâS ENOUGH!â your mother finally shouts at him, startling both of you.
You look over at your mother who is glaring at your father; the look on her face could have set him on fire. Your mother was always soft spoken and kind. It took a lot to get her angry, and youâve never seen her this angry.
âIn case you forgot, Mick, she is an adult. Besides, not only is that good money, that would be a good experience for her, too. Yes, we donât really know Leon, but from the handful of times Iâve spoken to him, he seems fine. He used to work for the government for Christâs sake. You canât get more trustworthy than that.â
Your father lets out a loud sigh, his attention back on you, âfine⌠but at the first sign of trouble, you get the hell out of there, understood?â
âOf course,â you reply with a nod, taking a bite out of your breakfast, âI didnât know he used to work for the government.â
âHeard it from one of the guys at Moeâs,â your father replies, âhe was some kind of special ops agent, or something. At least thatâs what Iâve heard.â
âMaybe he can figure out whatâs happening to all these hikers,â your mother suddenly says, âthey still havenât found Nate.â
âPoor kid, I hope heâs alright,â your father shakes his head, finishing up his breakfast and getting up from the table, âIâll be in the garage, Iâm going to get that car finished up today even if it kills me.â
You watch your father walk out of the dining room, the unmistakable sound of the door being whipped open and slamming shut following him. You and your mother finish breakfast in silence until your mother finally speaks up.
âHe just wants whatâs best for you. But, he needs to understand that you are a big girl now,â she lets out a sigh before continuing, âwhen I was your age, my father wouldnât let me think or do anything for myself. Iâm not letting that happen to you.â
You give your mother a smile, âthanks, Mom.â
Before you know it, Monday rolls around and youâre up bright and early. You were the epitome of a bundle of nerves, getting yourself ready and prettied up to ensure that not only you get there on time, but that you were presentable.Â
Might as well give him something nice to look at while working, right?
Itâs about a ten minute drive to Mr. Masonâs-- Leonâs house, so you make sure youâre out the door by quarter of eight to give yourself plenty of time to get there. Getting in your Chevette, you back out of the driveway and make your way there. Hemlock Drive is just on the outskirts of town, the entryway actually not too far from the gas station you had been working at. At the very end, you see it, an old ranch style home with a farmerâs porch; you guess it was probably built in the 30s. How many times had you come down here with your school friends and knocked on that front door, only to bolt when Mr. Mason came rushing out, red faced and furious as he chased the kids away. You immediately spot Leonâs motorcycle parked in the front. Over on the side of the house you see another vehicle parked: a black Jeep Wrangler with its unmistakable square headlights.
You park your car, turning off the engine to pull your keys out of the ignition, throwing them into your purse before you climb out of your car. You look down at your watch; itâs five of eight, early like you had intended. You approach the house, climbing the small set of steps, your heart pounding in your chest. You stand in front of the door, raising your trembling hand and give it a few knocks. You can hear movement inside the house and before you have time to collect yourself, Leon opens the door and you almost gasp. Heâs shirtless and you canât help but admire his built form. You force your eyes up to his, his ocean blues looking back at you as he smiles at you.Â
âGood morning, sweetheart! Ready to get to work?â

Ilvermorny Headcanons from an American
While Ilvermorny has a pretty decent Quidditch team, there is another sport for which they are less well-known for: ice hockey. I mean, come on, theyâre on a mountain in the middle of Massachusetts, how can you NOT have hockey?
Members of Pukwudgie House in particular are absolutely VICIOUS when it comes to hockey. You wouldnât think it, since theyâre meant to be the healing house, but they are. Even Wampus is scared to DEATH of facing them off, and many Pukwudgies spend more time in the penalty box than on the ice.
Students from the wonderful state of Louisiana are NOT to be messed with. Some ignorant Southern boy tries to start some racist crap? A Karen even thinks about calling the cops on some poor kids for no reason at all? Voodoo can and will be used, and theyâll be left for gator food in the middle of the bayou before they know it.
Speaking of voodoo, Madame Laveau was a student, was offered a place in all four houses, and chose Pukwudgie. No, I am not taking any questions.
At class reunions, each state puts on their own talent/art/musical act, which is then judged in a contest by the teachers. New York, California, and Tennessee nearly always win.
Native American students do very well in Herbology and Potions, and medicine men and women are very well-respected in Native American wizarding culture.
There was only one attempt made by Hogwarts to visit IlvermornyâŚwhich was made in 1812. Chaos ensued, many curses were thrown, and the only reason why people didnât die was because even through the castleâs enchantments, Muggles began noticing that something was happening up on Mt. Greylock, and both sides had to back down.
Beauxbatons, however, were and still are, very friendly with Ilvermorny, and it was said that Lafayette, himself a former student at Beauxbatons, even studied there for a few months before the Revolutionary War kicked into action.
As for DurmstrangâŚMcCarthyism. Red Scare. Need I say more?
Feel free to add on!

Almost there: Continue the NH 48 journey with Mount Twin South Peak, Lincoln, Lafayette, and Madison.Â
Mount Twin, South Peak - Elevation: 4902 ft
Difficulty Level: The South Peak of Mount Twin is a moderate hike. As stated in last weekâs post regarding Mount Twin, North Peak, this is an opportunity to peak bag. This chance comes more naturally, as the most popular and direct trail to the summit requires that you summit North Twin first.Â
Trail: The most common way to summit South Twin is via the North Twin trail. AllTrails link below:Â
North Twin and South Twin Mountain via North Twin Trail, New Hampshire - 762 Reviews, Map | AllTrails
View from South Peak:

Mount Lincoln - Elevation: 5089 ftÂ
Difficulty Level: With Mount Lincoln, we finally reach an over 5,000 footer! Mount Lincoln is generally considered a difficult hike. It is a section of âThe Franconia Ridgeâ, which attracts people from various parts of the United States and beyond. I want to stress that even though both Mount Lincoln and Lafayette (will be discussed below) are very beautiful, these are NOT easy hikes, and the weather can change very quickly. Like Mount Flume (detailed in my January 22nd post), these trails are for experienced hikers. Many unprepared trekkers have been rescued from this area, and others have died. There are frequent incidents where people have tried to summit in tennis shoes with no extra food. Others have been blown off the trails due to high wind speeds or lost. A good book to read before considering the Franconia Ridge is The Last Traverse. The story details the events of a specific rescue attempt from this area. Here is the Amazon link to purchase: The Last Traverse; Tragedy and Resilience in the Winter Whites: Gagne, Ty: 9781734930832: Amazon.com: Books. That being said, I have yet to complete this summit, but I have heard amazing things from my experienced hiker friends. One of my friends has even hiked the Franconia Ridge multiple times in all four seasons. Â
Trail: The two most popular trails to summit Mount Lincoln are via Falling Waters trail to the Franconia Ridge trail (you will summit Little Haystack mountain first), and the Franconia Ridge Trail loop (where you will summit Mount Lafayette first then Mount Lincoln, then Little Haystack). AllTrails link below:Â

Mount Lafayette - Elevation: 5260 ft
Difficulty Level: For Mount Lafayette, I would like to echo every point I made regarding Mount Lincoln. This area of the White Mountains is amazing, yet often unforgiving for even the most experienced of hikers. Please monitor the weather, and come prepared with food, layers, and the right hiking equipment. Like Lincoln, you can peak bag across the Franconia Ridge, which will make this hike even more difficult.Â
Trail: The most common trails to hike Mount Lafayette are the out and back Old Bridle Path trail, or the Franconia Ridge Trail loop. AllTrails link below:Â

Mount Madison: Elevation: 5367 ftÂ
Difficulty Level: Mount Madison is another very difficult hike. It is within the presidential range, which can also present challenging weather conditions. As always, stay vigilant, and come prepared. The hike is well worth the hard work, as the views are pretty incredible. It is about 1.4 miles from Mount Adams, so many hikers use this chance to peak bag. Mount Adams, which I will detail in the next post, is another rugged peak, so proceed with caution if this is your choice.  Â
Trail: The two most common trails for Mount Madison are Valley Way Trail to just Madison, and then Valley Way trail to Madison and Adams. AllTrails links below:

Cartoonverse Timeline
Major spoilers if you haven't watched Hilda, The Owl House, Infinity Train and Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. This is a timeline concerning something I've made. And I will make changes to it by adding the things revealed in season 3 of Hilda. Which I think like I said, have changed things for the better with this timeline.
Especially it also changes whatever I had planned or...sadly with Hilda over. I can figure out things easier with some reveals. Yet I also worried that...I technically created my "MCU" with this.
Infinity Train Book 4: Duet. Ryan Akagiâs and Min-Gi Parkâs journey on the train with Kez. The season where in the background, Amelia Hughes takes over the train. Taking place in what seems to be 1986.
For thirty-three years despite Ameliaâs intentions to make the train better. Her selfishness gets the better of her and she inadvertently causes the birth of âThe Apexâ led by Grace Monroe and Simon Laurent.
Hilda season 1. Hilda and Johanna move to Trolberg. This season takes place throughout Late March/Early April to the end of June 1997 as Hilda gets used to living in Trolberg.
âAn Owl Lady in Trolbergâ the remake that is set after âThe Black Houndâ in Hilda and before âA Lying Witch and a Wardenâ in The Owl House. The first meeting between Johanna and Eda Clawthorne. Still taking place in 1997 in Trolberg.
The Owl House season 1 beings. When Luz Noceda enters the Boiling Isles and meets Eda and King. This is the beginning of Summer 2020 in the dimension of The Owl House.
For the next three months, Eda and Johanna start dating. And during this time, Eda and Hilda begin hanging out a few times. Such as Eda giving Hilda a ride on her staff.
âAn Owl Ladyâs Second Chanceâ by Rysenkari happens sometime during season 1 of The Owl House. Where Eda and Johanna engage in an interesting activity where they confess their love for each other.
Hilda season 2 begins with Erik Ahlberg taking over of the Safety Patrol and changing things in Trolberg for the worst.
But after âChapter 3: The Witchâ in Hilda season 2, the portal door is destroyed by Luz in âYoung Blood, Old Soulsâ thus cutting off a way for Eda to go back to Trolberg to meet Johanna again.
The Owl House season 2 begins. And throughout season 2, things start changing for the worst with the Day of Unity approaching. Along with Eda reuniting with Raine Whispers despite thinking about her past with Johanna.
Yet because of Eda and Johanna interacting...something happened. That would affect later down this timeline.
âYesterdayâs Lieâ takes place during the end of Summer in 2020 where Luz discovers that Vee had been pretending to be her. This is also when Camila discovers what actually happened to Luz.
Infinity Train Book 1: The Perennial Child. Tulip Olsenâs journey to the engine of the train with One-One and Atticus. And the end of Ameliaâs thirty yearlong takeover of the train. This takes place in 2019.
Infinity Train Book 2: Cracked Reflection. MTâs/Lakeâs journey to escape the train with Jesse Cosay and Alan Dracula. This also takes place in 2019 sometime after book 1 ends.
The Owl House âKings Tideâ happens. Resulting in Luz and her friends being stuck in the human realm while Eda, King and others are stuck in the demon realm of the Boiling Isles. This happens during the Mid-Fall of 2020.
In 2023 in a different dimension. Where superheroes and all sorts of things exist. âMoon Girl Landingâ happens when Lunella Lafayette uses a teleporter that brings Devil Dinosaur into New York City. They later become superheroes with Lunella taking the name Moon Girl from one of her personal heroes. They have been superheroes for a few months. Having fought villains like Aftershock, Gravitas, the Muzzlers and others. Even with the Beyonder having watched Lunella and considering her the smartest human on Earth.
But before the events of "OMG Issues 1 & 2" happen. "A Shocking Return" happens. When Aftershock returns, Lunella and Devil ambush and kidnap her. But Lunella struggles what to do with Aftershock now. Despite Aftershock's extremely nasty comments and Lunella's heated discussions with her. Because of how kind Casey treated her, and even Lunella later on. Aftershock escapes but leaves without harming the two girls. Wondering what to do with her future.
After this, Lunella learns more about the original Moon Girl, who she was. And takes on Morlak and the Enclave. So, until season 2 airs, I am assuming Lunella will come back safely from that other dimension.
Infinity Train Book 3: Cult of the Conductor. Grace and Simonâs journey to return to the mall car and meeting Hazel and Tuba on the way. It is unknown which year this takes place in. But considering Amelia has been helping One-One for a while. Itâs possible this could take place in 2020.
But in this world compared to the canon. Episodes 9 and 10 donât happen in the same way. After Simon discovers Grace has been lying to him about Hazel. He makes the decision to kidnap Amelia and leave the others.
âThe False Prophetâ instead happens. Where Simon holds Amelia hostage to sacrifice her the next day. When Grace and Hazel return to the mall car, they are taken hostage as well. Similar events from âThe Origami Carâ and âThe New Apexâ happen, but in different ways. But it still ends with Grace and Simon fighting. The results are different this time where Simon is not killed by a Ghom, but saved by Grace instead. He runs away, horrified and confused by the situation.
Having endure almost 12 hours of being kidnapped, Amelia apologizes to Grace and Hazel for her comments. She leaves Hazel with Grace instead.
âLetting It Outâ happens. A week after their terrifying ordeal, Grace and Hazel confide in each other as they express what they went through together.
Two days after that. "Maybe One Day" happens where Grace and Amelia catch up with each other, also talking about the ordeal they went through. Along with talking about the future, especially about Hazel's future.
âThe Stone Forestâ in the dimension of Hilda happens where Hilda, Johanna and Twig become trapped in the Stone Forest and surrounded by Trolls. After two days of being in there, they escape. But a day later, Hilda for some reason is replaced with Baba in bed.
Hilda and the Mountain King immediately happens. Hilda is transformed into a troll, trying to find her way to become a human again. While Johanna and others try to get her back. Meanwhile, Erik Ahlberg soon makes things worse as the tensions between humans and trolls increases as more trolls get closer to the city.
During the events, Hilda is reunited with Johanna. And soon afterwards, the Mountain King, Trundle makes himself a martyr as he is killed by Erik Ahlberg. Hoping that Amma, the mother and grandmother of all Trolls rises from below Trolberg to destroy the city. But it stops when Hilda is able to get Erik to stop what he is doing, saving the city in the process. And thus, creating peace between humans and Trolls as they are now allowed in the city one night a year. This takes place during early Spring 1998.
After months of not being able to return, âThanks To Themâ, âFor The Futureâ and âWatching and Dreamingâ happen in The Owl House. Luz and others are able to return back to the Boiling Isles and save everybody. A string of events happens in what appears to be maybe THREE DAYS...the last day being on Halloween Night.
But a day before Luz and the others returned to the Boiling Isles. "An Owl Lady's Confession" takes place where Eda finally confesses the truth about her relationship with Johanna to her ex, Raine Whispers. Who is sadly a puppet at that time.
All of this, "Thanks To Them, "For The Future" and "Watching and Dreaming" takes place during "The Stone Forest" and Hilda and the Mountain King. With "The False Prophet" happening before them and leading into "Letting It Out" and "Maybe One Day". Those last two are taking place during the events in Hilda and The Owl House.
With Belos killed and everyone safe. A week after that, a new portal to the human realm is made. And thus, after months of not seeing each other. Eda is able to return to Trolberg and meet with Johanna again. With Johanna...reacting to what Eda tells her about with...an interesting reaction. Including with Raine finally meeting Johanna for the first time.
Sometime after Eda and others travel to Trolberg as the reconstruction of the Boiling Isles happens. Along with Trolberg becoming a better place again. A glitch happens on the Infinity Train.

I decided somewhat impulsively to take a trip to Eugene, visiting the Cascades Raptor Center, making a quick stop at Alton Baker Park, and generally just rambling through residential streets. Dare I say I enjoyed it even more than Portland and the Columbia River Gorge? Itâs a beautiful city with delightfully hilly terrain, and the unexpected sunshine made the fall foliage even more radiant. I do kinda wish Iâd flipped my Saturday and Sunday excursions so I could have seen Mt. Hood in its full splendor, but hindsight is 20/20. Accuweather did me a bit dirty, tbh.
Fun fact, though: Iâm absurdly sunburned after yesterdayâs hiking. I guess I shouldâve reapplied sunscreen sometime in the afternoon, even with the rainy, overcast weather.
On the way back from Eugene, I stopped in Salem (state capital: check) and a smattering of small towns in the Willamette Valley, including Lafayette, McMinnville, and NewbergâŚtraveling through wine country without the wine. And if the rain forecasted for tomorrow isnât too hellacious, I have ambitious plans for my last day in Oregon. Fingers crossed!

3 Historically Black Churches in Louisiana Burned Down in 10 Days
Three historically black churches has been burned to the ground in the state of Louisiana and authorities are scrambling to find a suspect.
The churches in rural St. Landry Parish â about 30 miles north of Lafayette â have burned since March 26 in what officials have described as âsuspicious circumstances.â
âThere is clearly something happening in this community,â State Fire Marshal H. Browning said in a statement.Firefighters and fire investigators respond to a fire at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Thursday, April 3, 2019, on Hwy. 182 south of Opelousas, La.
CNN Reports:
The first fire occurred March 26 at St. Mary Baptist Church in Port Barre. Greater Union burned on Tuesday and Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, also in Opelousas, suffered a fire on Thursday.
âWe believe these three fires are suspicious,â Browning said. âWe are falling short of talking about what caused the fires, falling short of saying they are related, however cognizant that there is a problem and no coincidence that there are three fires.â
Officials were also investigating a fourth, smaller fire last Sunday at the predominantly white Vivian United Pentecostal Church in Caddo Parish more than 200 miles north of St. Landry. The blaze was intentionally set.
Pastor Harry Richard of Greater Union Baptist Church said, âIâm very concerned but Iâm very optimistic because of our faith in God and, no matter what happens, I feel like this is his plan,â Richard said. âHeâs going to bring me through this.â
Gov. John Bel Edwards this week appealed for the publicâs help with the investigations. âOur churches are sacred, central parts of our communities and everyone should feel safe in their place of worship, â he said in a statement. âWe do not know the cause of these fires in St. Landry and Caddo parishes, but my heart goes out to each of the congregations and all of those who call these churches home.â
The FBI and federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were assisting in the investigations.
âYou got to have a certain degree of anger because thereâs no reason for this,â Deacon Earnest Hines of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Opelousas told CNN affiliate WBRZ.
Pastor Richard also told CNN affiliate KATC Greater Union Baptist Church embodied more than 100 years of history. âOur parents, grandparents went here,â he said. âBuried in the back there, some of them are.â
On Sunday, he told KLFY, he planned to preach about Godâs grace to his displaced congregation.
âGodâs grace is undeserved merit. I know we donât deserve this, but he gives us something better than this, and thatâs undeserved grace,â Richard said.
Rev. Gerald Toussaint of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA was on his way to his full-time job as a truck driver when he received the news of his church burned down in the middle of the night.
He said by the time he arrived at the churches location, it was gone.
âMy church has a lot of history,â he said noting that it was more than 140 years old. âI donât understand it. What could make a person do that to a church?â
Toussaint told ABC news that âThe church is not the building. The church is the people.â He also added, âIf we stay together as a congregation, the church is alive and well. We can rebuild the building as long as we stay together.â
We pray for safety and justice for the church families and the entire community. If you have any information regarding these suspicious fire, please contact St. Landry Parish Police at (337) 948-6516 or Crime Stoppers at 948-8477 (TIPS).
